Abatec is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to join their client, a tier 1 contractor on a freelance basis working on a major project based in Suffolk.

As a Health and Safety Advisor you will:

Support and provide information to the site ensuring compliance with all requirements in the construction plans.

Support investigations of incidents including close calls and near misses on site.
Identifying training needs
Assist in the production of Health and Safety plans, procedures, and associated documentation and check Compliance.

Our client is looking for a Health & Safety Advisor with:

Sound Knowledge of civil engineering/construction methods
Relevant qualifications in health and safety or previous experience in a similar role
Problem-solving skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
Experience working on large civil engineering/construction sites.

Salary/Benefits:

450 - 550 PAYE Umbrella
